A Memoir of Philip Mathews
Philip's life was full of faith. He always said, I don't climb mountains, I speak to them and command them to move.
Susan and Santhosh explain how God is still good in the midst of your worst trials. No matter what!
It is important to grieve. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It is important to let those tears heal you from the inside.
A good seed must not only die, but also be buried in the ground in good soil so it can spring forth much fruit. Death is not the end.
What people are saying
Philip inspires each of us with his passion for life, his pursuit to make a difference, and his perseverance to walk with courage. In these pages, you will meet a young man who chose to face the pain of the world - not simply his own but also the pain of others. Through his compassion and determination, he brought (and continues to bring) hope in place of despair. Because Philip was given the opportunity to live, he used his opportunities and his challenges to bless others. He powerfully lived out Psalm 67 – blessed to be a blessing. We honor this co-laborer in Christ who ran and finished his race well. We have no doubt that Philip’s life will continue to bless many more.

Meeting Philip Mathews was a life changing experience. At first listening to the testimonies from the father mother, grandparents from both families was spell binding and faith provoking. His pregnancy, birth and early childhood was so challenging to the immediate family and even the medical fraternity. However a ministry that is touching many who are affected and inflicted like himself was birthed from the tears of the parents and his pain which he continued to bear till his last breath. What Philip achieved in 19 years many people will not even accomplish in their life time. I salute your life Philip. Even beyond death you are and will continue to touch and transform lives. Whatever the enemy meant for evil the Lord has turned it for the good of His people. Shalom
